Food Checklist
The following link helps defines categories of food that create a healing response.
- Angiogenesis -- the ability to create and breakdown blood vessels.
Often needed for weight loss to occur. - Angiogenesis Stimulation -- the ability to create blood vessels.
Often needed for recovery and repair. - Regeneration -- the ability to create new stem cells to regenerate tissue.
The body regenerates itself every 7 years with certain lifetimes of tissue.
The gut rebuilds itself every 4 to 7 days, for example. - Microbiome -- the ability to rebuild the gut's microbial flora.
The gut flora form part of the immune response and recovery. - DNA Protection -- the ability to protect, maintain, and repair DNA.
Gene protection and recovery is part of extending our health. - Immunity -- the ability of the body to fight back from pathogens.
Strengthening the immune response makes recovers happen faster.
